Punisher Chapter

The Punisher or "Black Verdict" Chapter are not merely warriors—they are executioners, judge and jury on the edge of the Imperium. Born of war crimes and shadowed by tragedy, the Black Verdict emerged in the aftermath of a great betrayal. Their progenitor chapter (rumored to be a Raven Guard successor) was nearly annihilated after its leaders were found guilty of heretical dealings with radical Inquisitors. The survivors—few and scattered—refused to disband.

Instead, they rebuilt themselves in secret, exiling from Imperial authority and taking it upon themselves to mete out punishment where the Imperium had failed. Rogue commanders, corrupt Governors, heretic cults, and even wayward Astartes have all faced their fury.

Their creed is absolute: "There is no forgiveness, only justice."
