The Scythes of the Emperor are the remnants of a once-proud Chapter, now transformed into spectral reapers of vengeance. Nearly driven to extinction by the Tyranid menace of Hive Fleet Kraken, they emerged from the ashes not broken—but sharpened. What remains of their brotherhood carries the weight of the dead with solemn fury, each battle a ritual, each kill an act of remembrance.

The Scythes of the Emperor are a Loyalist Chapter, descended from the Ultramarines through the Second Founding, and they strictly adhere to the Battle Brother's Codex, making them one of the Ultra Warriors original successors.

Sworn utterly to the will of the Emperor, they fight not for glory or triumph, but because they must. Cloaked in mourning black and gold, they are a grim omen to their foes and a whispered legend among the faithful—Scythes raised not to harvest crops, but to reap the enemies of Mankind.

They are death incarnate, wielded by the hand of a forgotten legacy.
